Maruti To Hire Trained Workers At Manesar

Production at Manesar is low following the month long lock out that was needed to investigate the violet incidents in the plant. With many of its senior workers absconding fearing police arrest Maruti Suzuki is facing a dearth of experienced and trained workers.
Now jobs at Maruti Suzuki's Manesar plant are available to trained and experience workers. The carmaker has initiated steps to hire new workers And restore full productivity before the end of this month. Maruti Suzuki is also very cautious about who it hires following the workers' protests last year and the violent incidents of July.
Maruti Suzuki recently conducted a written test for prospective candidates and the results do not appear very encouraging. It has stated that several candidates were not proficient or were not motivated enough to take up the job.
In another bad news to prospective workers, Maruti Suzuki is also considering increasing automation at its plants so that its reliance on man power reduces. The extent of automation can go up to 99% ensuring minimal human intervention in production. Maruti Suzuki could have come to this decision following the flash strikes by workers and the quality issues it faced during last year's strikes.
The Maruti Suzuki job offer should attract many workers considering the high wages provided by the carmaker. However, it remains to be seen if July 18's violent incidents will curtail the availability of trained workers to Maruti Suzuki.
