Jay Leno Buys Himself A Tata Nano
Jay Leno, a known car and motorcycle lover has been photographed posing in front of a white Tata Nano with a tri-colour band representing the Indian flag. Jay Leno was also dressed in an Indian dress and had dancers in Indian costumes around him.
Jay Leno's Tata Nano is not his first Indian connection. He already owns a 500cc Royal Enfield bullet. A known auto enthusiast, Jay Leno has a huge collection of vintage cars and bikes. He has more than 200 cars and 90 motorcycles.
The Tata Nano has been in the news across the world since it was launched as the world's cheapest car. It caught the world's attention and media person's from several countries have test driven the Indian small car. The Nano is now an international car too as it is being exported to some Asian countries.
The Nano was never considered for the American car market and yet it is finding buyers. Jay Leno's Nano can trigger a spurt in the number of people buying the Nano from international markets. No wonder, the tag of being the world's cheapest car is attractive even to millionaires.
