Iveco Truck
The Indian trucking industry is growing at a rapid pace. Italian truck maker Iveco who is a part of the Fiat Group is looking to tap this segment. CEO, Alfredo Altavilla was heard saying that, India is on the top of its priority list and the company is looking out for a local partner.

The Indian soil is not new for Iveco. The Italian truck manufacturer, till 2006 had a 15% stake in India's second largest truck maker, Ashok Leyland. Iveco exited the venture by selling its stake to Hinduja Group for 600 crore.

The biggest Challenge for Iveco comes in the form of a standalone brand in India. Would the Italian truck manufacturer be able to fight-off the stiff competition? Do you think its a good time for Iveco to enter India or its already too late, as the the other truck manufacturers have already conquered the segment.
