Honda has got into the act with festive season launches. The company has rolled out the much awaited Honda Brio automatic model. India being a country with major traffic condition issues, a lot of car buyers are opting for automatic cars.

In-order to cater to this growing demand, Honda has decided to provide the small car market with their Honda Brio automatic. The Honda Brio automatic's starting price is INR 5.74 lakhs, ex-showroom, New Delhi.

This new model will compete with other automatic cars in the segment, such as the Hyundai i10 AT Kappa 2 and Maruti Suzuki A Star AT which are currently receiving great response.

Honda has launched the automatic transmission in Honda Brio.

Honda Brio is the first car in the segment to be equipped with a 5-speed Automatic Transmission.

The Auto transmission will provide the customers with a convenient and effortless drive in city traffic.

The new EX variant, which is an addition to the Brio line up, will feature 1 DIN audio system (AM/FM, MP3, USB with Aux -In) with Front speakers. Inclusion of Body Coloured Outside Rear View Mirrors, Body Coloured Outside Door Handles, and Door CTR Sash tape makes it more stylish and enhances the looks of the car.

For added customer convenience, the Honda Brio S grade is now equipped with Power Adjustable Outside Rear View Mirrors along with Front & Rear mud guards.

The complete range of the Brio has been expanded and will now be available in 7 grades- E MT, EX MT, S MT, S(O) MT, S(O) AT, V MT and V AT.

The AT shift lever in Honda Brio features 7 positions

1. P - Park. for parking or starting the engine
2. R - Reverse. Used when Reversing
3. N - Neutral. Used when idling
4. D - Drive. Normal driving
5. D3 - Drive (D3). Used on highway drives
6. 2 - Second. Used on loose or slippery surfaces.
7. 1 - First. Used for engine braking; stays in 1st gear, does not shift up.
