Cafe Mangii, Harley Owners Support Safe Ride
On Sunday, Mumbai witnessed a throng of Harley Davidson bikers riding their bikes from Bandra to Powai with the object of promoting the message of “Safe Riding”. The sight of a flock of Harley Davidson bikes and tough bikers with gears riding together campaigning for a cause of a safer Mumbai brought a pleasant smile on every Mumbaikar’s face. These proud Harley Davidson owners came from all parts of India and rode to their destination – Café Mangii, Powai.
Café Mangii became the first Mumbai restaurant that HOI has associated with; another feather in the hat after winning many accolades for serving the best Italian food. The evening saw Café Mangii dressed to the occasion, a live band performance by Beach Dog, along with rounds of scrumptious delicacies and exotic wines in an intimate ambience of the café.
Not only the bikers showed strong support for “Safe Riding” but were also joined by well-known faces such as Ash Chandler, Aryan Vaid with wife Alexandra, famous South Indian actor Habib Aidroos, and model Aram Chaudhury amongst others.
Bikers were seen enjoying the food and conversations complemented with the warm and hospitable service provided by Café Mangii. Café Mangii promoter Prashant Chaudhri spoke on the occasion: “It was a pleasure hosting Harley Owners India and extending our hospitality to the avid bikers. Café Mangii is privileged associating with India’s premier independent motorcycle community for Harley Davidson owners. “Safe Riding” is a major concern for the people of Mumbai and we are glad to be a part of the campaign.”
