Mighty Bharat Benz Trucks Launched
The mighty trucks from Bharat Benz have finally arrived in India. Truckers have been trucking either on tatas, mahindra and ashok leylands for a long time. Soon you will spot german trucks on the Indian asphalt.
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), the Indian subsidiary of Daimler AG has launched the first fleet of trucks under the Bharat Benz brand.
India has received three heavy duty trucks 523R and 3123R for the haulage segment and 2523C for the construction segment. Bharat Benz is looking to capture a good share in the trucking segment.
An interesting fact is, the trucks that are being rolled out by Bharat Benz provide 10% better fuel efficiency in comparison to existing products in the market.
Mr. Marc Llistosella, Managing Director and CEO, DICV commented on this development. He said, "Today is an important milestone for all of us at Daimler and Indian trucking.From today, Indian truck buyers will have a new choice. A choice, for trucks that are more fuel efficient, more reliable and in the end make them more successful.
