Are The Roads Safer After Petrol Price Hike?
One person from Bangalore saw the upside in the petrol price hike by stating the roads will now be more safer as people will now try to save fuel by not driving very fast. Many accidents caused by over speeding will come down preventing injuries and loss of life.
Another comment on Facebook read: “Congress manages to curtail drunk driving in one swift move ! How many people can now afford to buy alcohol & petrol at the same time ? ? ?” So people who wished to drink or drive will now be able to afford only one of them making roads safer.

If petrol prices continue to increase further, we might end up having petrol loans, similar to gold loans. Here is what Ghanshyam from Bangalore has said: "Wont be Long, before we see a Mannapuram Petrol Loan. Deposit a can of petrol and take home cash."
Here is another funny comment on the petrol price hike: Petrol pump attendant: "How much petrol do you want? Customer : Just spray for 3 – 4 rupees on the car, its enough to burn it."
Another person has said celebrities who organise blood donation camps on their birthdays must now organize petrol donation camps! We can only wonder who are now rich enough to donate petrol.
