The application which will operate on iPhone or Android systems will feature in the 2012 end to be launched Chevrolet Spark and Sonic. The new smart application is expected to be priced at $50, around Rs 2,500.
Though most of the smartphones have navigation applications, it will be difficult for the drivers to use it due to its small screen, especially while driving. The tabs, though big in size, drivers will find it difficult to place it at proper position and use it.
The GogoLink, based on the GogoLive navigation app integrates with the smartphone and shows point-to-point route guidance, real-time traffic data to help avoid trouble spots. GM hasn't indicated if the new application will be available in other cars of the brand or if it will come to India.
