Volkswagen Is The New Official Importer Of Porsche
Hereafter, Volkswagen Group division will be looking after Porsche brand affairs such as distribution and expansion. Meanwhile, Precision will only sell and service Porsche models through its network of showrooms and service centres across India.
Porsche, iconic German carmaker has sold 1,052 cars in India since 2004 with most of the sales contributed by the Cayenne SUV. Porsche currently sells the 911 range, the Panamera, the Cayenne and the entry-level Boxster / Cayman models in India.
Porche also expects to drive in more sales volumes in the coming times by launching new models like the Macan compact SUV and the diesel version of the Panamera coupe. Meanwhile, the press release by Volkswagen stated that Mr Anil Reddy has been appointed as the head of Porsche India.
