Solar Car Man Needs Sponsors For India Tour
Imagine a car that runs purely on natural energy. A car with no emissions and no daily running costs too. A car that can run as much as 50 kilometres a day without costing you a single rupee. The car we are writing about is this solar car developed by Syed Muzakkir Ahmed from Bangalore.
Bangalore's very own solar car man has developed this car that is eco friendly and efficient too. The Solar car has three main solar panels, the one in the front on the bonnet, the roof than the third one on the rear. The panels charge a battery which in turn deliver power to an electric motor that turns the wheels.
Me Ahmed who has been supporting the cause of solar cars through his car has tried several methods to popularize solar cars. He has already taken a 600 kilometer trip from Bangalore to Cochin in Kerala on his car. Now he is planning to add a social cause to his tours.

Mr Ahmed's solar car has a range of 50 kilometers on one full charge. A day in the sun will charge the batteries completely. You can also charge the batteries through a conventional plug on dull and cloudy days. So this can be called as a solar hybrid electric. A great combination considering the ever increasing fuel prices.
A Solar Car is the car of the future when all the oil in the world is burnt away. Innovators such as Mr Ahmed must be supported by carmakers too as they all will have to become solar car makers once there is little oil left to burn.
