Bentley Names Kevin Rose As Sales Director

Kevin Rose has extensive international sales experience gained working across the Volkswagen Group brands such as Seat, Volkswagen, Skoda and Audi. He was previously leading the FAW-Volkswagen Joint Venture in China. He was previously based at Volkswagen Group’s head office in Wolfsburg, where as Executive Director – Sales for the Volkswagen brand he was responsible for sales in North and South America and key global markets outside Europe including Russia and India.
Bentley Motors CEO Wolfgang Duerheimer while welcoming Mr Kevin rose to the British luxury carmaker said: “I am delighted to welcome Kevin to the Bentley team. He brings to Bentley a wealth of international sales experience which is underpinned by solid roots in the British automotive industry.”
Bentley Motors is looking to break out from the mould of being a manufacturer Of sedate sedans and luxury cars. It recently unveiled a concept luxury SUV that could soon become a production vehicle. The company is making the most of its association with the Volkswagen Group and has developed this SUV on the same platform on which Audi builds its Q7 and Porsche the Cayenne.
Bentley's sales increased by 37 per cent in 2011. Kevin Rose who took over from Alasdair Stewart who takes up a new role as Skoda UK’s Brand Director said: “The move to Bentley and the luxury automotive sector is an exciting new challenge. Bentley is the ultimate brand for luxury and performance and I see huge potential for global growth. I look forward to working with the Bentley team and dealer network to identify new customers and markets and build on the strength of the brand today.”
