MPVs are getting more popular by the day. The segment is dominated by models such as the Toyota Innova and the Mahindra Xylo. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga a new entrant in the segment is also looking to make a mark for itself. The Tata Aria is another notable MPV that is being considered by buyers.

The Mahindra Xylo made a mark in the MPV segment on the first year it was launched. It was awarded the car of the year and MPV of the same year it was launched. Mahindra has now launched an all new Xylo with new styling and a choice of three diesel engines.
The Tata Aria has had a checkered career so far. It is Tata Motor's most premium offering. It has been styled with the help of Land Rover and has a distinctly similar look with that of the Innova. Available with both four wheel drive and two wheel drive, the Tata Aria is priced between Rs.12 lakhs and Rs.17 lakhs.
The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is an attractive MPV built to offer space and comfort at an affordable price. Its diesel variants are available for Rs7.35L to 8.45L while the four petrol variants are priced between Rs.6 lakhs and Rs.7.3 lakhs. The Ertiga is built on the same platform as the Swift and hence Maruti has been able to keep its price low.
