Audi Opens New Showroom In Coimbatore
Audi, the German premium carmaker has opened its brand new showroom in the City of Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. Audi's new showroom is the fifth in South India and the second after Chennai in Tamil Nadu.
Audi India chief Michel Perschke inaugurated the showroom along with CR Ananthakrishnan from Audi Coimbatore. Describing Audi opening its Coimbatore as an important milestone, Mr Perschke said: “ Audi already has a strong presence in the southern market with showrooms in key markets like Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kochi. The opening of a new showroom in Coimbatore reflects our commitment to offer our customers with an unparalleled luxury experience of class defining products and world-class services that truly emphasize our core brand values of progressiveness, sophistication and sportiness.”

Audi's Coimbatore showroom is spread across 6100 square feet. Designed according to Audi's international standards, the showroom has a beautiful honey comb design on the outside. Audi Coimbatore will offer customers a fullsome experience with sales, service and spares.
Audi India's entire model range will be available at the Coimbatore showroom. The most sought after car at the showroom was the TT sports car. But the one car that is expected to sell well here will be the Q5 and the soon to be launched Q3 premium SUVs.
Mr. CR Anandakrishnan, Managing Director, Audi Coimbatore (Jahnvi Motors Pvt. Ltd) Audi Coimbatore in his statement to the media said: “It is a matter of great pride for us to be appointed as an Audi dealer and we hope the opening of this new showroom in Coimbatore announces the beginning of a longstanding association with Audi. At Audi Coimbatore, we will ensure that customers are provided with a distinct luxury experience that the brand with the four rings is known for globally.”
Audi Coimbatore has set up a separate service area spanning an area of 13,250 square feet on Avinashi road in Coimbatore. It can handle as many as 10 cars per day and is equipped with all modern equipment needed to handle Audi's premium cars. Audi India has provided exhaustive training to the technicians and service men from the showroom.
Audi India's showrooms are expected to increase further from the existing 18 to a further 25 in 2012. The premium carmaker which recently overtook Mercedes-Benz In India is looking to cement its place by spreading its reach across India.
