Lamborghini Urus Super SUV Concept Revealed
Italian sports carmaker Lamborghini has revealed the stunning Urus SUV concept at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show. The images of the concept have been doing the rounds in internet for a while now.
The Urus is a five-door four-seater SUV which is similar to the Range Rover Evoque in terms of height, but a little longer and wider than Evoque. Despite the SUV styling and dimensions, the Urus still follows Lamborghini's cutting edge design with its sharp lines.
The Lamborghini Urus will be the third model in line from the high-end sports car maker at around 2015 after the Aventador and the Gallardo replacements. Lamborghini has kept secret the technical specifications of the SUV, though it has been said that the Urus will be powered by a more powerful engine than the Gallardo LP560's V10 motor.
The Urus has got a light weight design which will help the SUV achieve moderate fuel economy and less emissions. Lamborghini has used a lot of carbonfibre in the Urus' body cutting weight and increasing the poise. The Urus has been seen as a “very concrete idea for the future of Lamborghini” which will help the brand expand enormous customer base.
