Range Rover Evoque - Women's World Car Of the Year
The hugely successful Range Rover Evoque has proved that it is highly popular to woman as well as it is to men. Adding another feat to its name, the stylish crossover from the British carmaker has won the Women's Car Of The Year award 2012. The awards event will be held at The Paris Motor Show in September this year.
The Sporty Range Rover Evoque has been doing good for the iconic Land Rover brand since it launch owing to its sexy looks and daring off-road capabilities. While the Range Rover Evoque grabbed the top spot, BMW's classy 3 series sedan came at the second position with Audi's Q3 compact crossover finishing third.
The winners of the fourth Women’s World Car of the Year awards were selected from a list of 32 cars by a jury panel that comprised of 20 female judges from across 11 countries. The winners will be awarded with a trophy framed in Netherlands.
The smallest, lightest, most fuel-efficient model from Land Rover, Range Rover Evoque was launched in India last year at a starting price of Rs 44.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai ). The Range Rover Evoque will be available in four variants with prices going up to Rs. 56.7 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the top-end variant.
