Mahindra Returning XUV 500 Booking Amount

Mahindra was in a position to offer the XUV 500 to only 8,000 people but the demand was so high that it had to conduct a lottery to choose the buyers. The carmaker had promised it would refund the people who were not chosen in some time.
Mahindra has already started the refund process. It has now asked people to contact it directly if they have not received the XUV 500 refund. In an update in the XUV 500's Facebook page, Mahindra has informed its fans that it had completed the refund process by 15th March. Further it has provided its contact details on which people who have not received the refund can make use of.
This is the statement on Mahindra XUV 500's Facebook fan page: “Dear fans, as on 15th March 2012, we have completed the refund of the application deposit amount to all participants whose application was not selected in the XUV500 Draw. If you have not received your refund till date, we request you to please email us at [email protected] or call us on 1800-209-6006 with your application details. Thank you once again for participating in the automated random draw process. We look forward to welcoming you into the XUV500 family soon.”
While this statement is good news to people who have not received their booking amount yet, many people have responded to the statement that they do not need the money and only want the car. Some have even requested when the third round of booking for the XUV 500 will open.
