Thar Scout's Sakleshpur Mahindra Great Escape

I am of the opinion, there is an adventure mummified in all of us. I do not wish to relinquish that adventure. On these lines, I ignite the driving passion within me and head to Sakleshpur to get Thar'd. You guessed it right, its a Jeep thing. Most of you wouldn't understand. So let me break it down for you, shift low to get high as possible. Sakleshpur - been there yet?

Sakleshpur has been slated, as one of the hard-bitten off-roading events in the Great Escape calendar. Drivespark was part of the fifth round of the off-roading Trophy 2012. Sakleshpur invokes a Scotland pinch and is often referred to as 'Scotland of the East'.

This year's Sakleshpur Great Escape witnessed a rugged terrain. A total of 80 Mahindra vehicles took part. Out of which 20 where competition vehicles and the remaining off-roading enthusiasts. The participants took on a total of 23 kilometers. It was sure bliss and we covered some pristine hills and coffee estates.

I could go on bragging about Sakleshpur and the Great Escape event. However, I would like to take this opportunity to confess, I am infatuated by the Thar and Mahindra's Great Escape Platform.

What you need is a Mahindra Jeep and head to the next upcoming Mahindra Adventure. I assure you, when you come back, you will ripen into a religious Jeep disciple.
