Car Gifted By Adolf Hitler To Be Shown In Nepal

Hitler's Vintage Mercedes
Vintage cars are loved by all not only for the beauty, longevity and classic looks but also their history. Many vintage cars have been valued at millions of dollars just because of the people the cars were associated with.

A Vintage 1939 Mercedes-Benz that was gifted to the then King of Nepal, King Tribhuvan by German Dictator Adolf Hitler will soon be on display at the royal museum being built in Katmandu.

A 1939 Mercedes Benz presented by Nazi leader Adolf Hitler to King Tribhuvan, Gyanendra's grandfather, is also to be displayed at the museum. The car is said to be in a bad shape and needs urgent restoration.

The Vintage Mercedes is currently housed in an engineering college in Kathmandu. It was used to train mechanics and has hence lost some of its sheen. The college has said it does not have enough money or spare parts to bring the car back to its original condition.

Such vintage cars that have been associated with known names such as Adolf Hitler and King Tribhuvan of Nepal, need to be brought back to their original shape for future generations to see.
