Visitors to the New York Auto Show were in for a treat as the world's fastest convertible, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport was on display. Named as the 16.4 Grand Sport, this convertible version of the Veyron is powered by massive eight litre 16 cylinder engine.

Capable of reaching a mind boggling top speed of 407kmph (253mph), the Grand Sport is a car that even some millionaires would hesitate to buy. Priced at a whopping $1.9 million, this Bugatti Veyron variant will be bought by someone who has huge amounts of money and does not know how to spend it.
