Mahindra Secretly Accepting XUV 500 Bookings?
Mahindra XUV 500 has been receiving overwhelming response in the market since its launch. The SUV has been selling exceptionally well resulting in a long waiting period for the model. The carmaker had even gone for lucky draws among customers who booked the SUV.
Now reports have surfaced that Mahindra has started accepting bookings for the XUV secretly as an attempt to oblige the unsuccessful draw participants. Though, these applicants have been promised the delivery of the XUV in the next lot.
Mahindra has been trying to do what ever it can to reduce the waiting list of the car. The carmaker has increased production of the XUV 500 from 2,000 units in a month to 3,000 units.
The main factor in the success of XUV 500 is the right pricing of the SUV with it giving a tough time to the cars of its price range. The XUV which comes at a starting price of Rs 11,38,000 alone had outsold all D-segment sedans in the month of March.
