Chevrolet Sail Specs, Features, Price
The Chevrolet Said is expected to be the replacement of the Aveo UV-A hatchback. The Aveo UV-A has not been able to perform up to expectations with even the under powered Beat overtaking it within a month of its launch. The new Sail will incidentally be powered by the same 1.2-litre engine found in the Beat.
The USP of the Sail as compared to the Beat will be more space, premium features and a stylish design. Chevrolet is expected to add an automatic transmission to the top end variant of the Sail. The Chevrolet Sail's other impressive features will include:

- Anti-lock braking system,
- SRS airbags
- Power steering
- Power windows
- Remote central locking
- Fog lights
- Alloy wheels
- Rear defogger
- Rear washer/wiper.
Apart from the features of the Chevrolet Sail, the most important aspect that people are looking out is the price. The Chevrolet Sail's price in India is expected to be just over rs.5 lakhs for the entry level variant. The top end variant with all the bells and whistles is expected to be priced at Rs.8 lakhs.
The Sal will be available with both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine will deliver the poer and performance that a car enthusiast will like while the diesel engine will deliver the fuel economy and the low running costs that a family will prefer. The petrol engine is expected to deliver 80bhp and 108Nm of torque.
The Chevrolet Sail will definitely be a value for money car if it is launched within the price range that we discussed above. The Sail has a proven record of being a very decent car in the international market. If GM manages to provide the same features, comfort and performance, it definitely has a success in its hands.
