Renault Starts Duster Bookings Before June Launch

The Renault Duster's date with India has been set. The affordable SUV from Renault which was unveiled at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo will be launched commercially in the month of June. To add a twist to the launch story, Renault has already started receiving bookings for the Duster.

The exterior design of the duster is dominated by its stylish chrome grille and twin headlamps. The 16 inch wheels give the duster a fine look. The interiors will get leather upholstery.

The Duster's engine options have not been revealed yet. It is expected to be powered by a 1.6 litre MPFI petrol engine that can generate 105bhp. This engine should help the Duster deliver a mileage of 13kmpl. The diesel engine for the Duster could be the 1.5-litre DCi engine that is slated to produce 85bhp. The more attractive feature of this engine is its mileage of 19kmpl.
