Skoda Launches Low Priced Superb Ambition 18.55L
Skoda has launched the low priced version of its flagship sedan, the Superb Ambition with a starting price of Rs.18.55 lakhs (ex showroom Mumbai). The Skoda Superb Ambition is a stripped down version of the executive sedan with some features missing.
The Czech carmaker is believed to have launched this version to fend off competition from the new Hyundai Fluidic Sonata and the soon to be launched Toyota Camry. The starting price of Rs.18.55 lakhs for the petrol variant is indeed attractive for some one looking for a premium executive sedan. The diesel variant is priced at Rs.23.19 lakhs
Skoda has replaced the Superb's xenon headlamps with projector headlamps. It also misses out front parking sensors. The Skoda Superb Ambition gets a a standard audio system instead of the touch screen system found in the top end Elegance. The CD player is just a single CD version instead of the 6-CD changer.
The launch of the Superb Ambition takes the number of Superb Variants to six. Here is a price list of all Superb models being sold in India. (All priced ex-showroom Mumbai)
