Mitsubishi's 7-Seater Outlander Out At INR 19.95L

Mitsubishi India has launched the new 7-seater Outlander crossover at Rs. 19.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi.). Less costlier by Rs. 1 lakh than the outgoing 5-seater Outlander, the new version is sure to take on the likes of Honda CR-V, Ford Endeavor and Chevrolet Captiva. The new Outlander comes following the recent launch of the Pajero Sport in New Delhi. Mitsubishi is expected to start delivering the car in about one month.

The new Outlander is reportedly the modified version of the older 5-seater version. Mitsubishi has just added 2 extra seats to the back to occupy 2 passengers. The extra seats can be folded into the boot for more luggage space. However, there will be minimal space for passengers in the third row.

The salient features of the new Outlander are steering wheel mounted audio and cruise control, keyless entry, HID headlamps with AFS function, adjustable headrests and front and seat belt anchor and leather seats with seat heater.

The power for all Outlander variants come from the 2.4 liter MPFI petrol engine, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, capable of delivering 167PS of power and 226Nm of torque. The engine offers a fuel efficiency of 10.3 kmpl. A diesel engine option is not available for the car.
