Maruti Launches New Special Edition Swift Alpha
Maruti Suzuki has launched a new special edition model of the Swift hatchback. Maruti Swift Alpha Limited Edition will come only in the mid-level Maruti Swift VXi petrol variant.
With the new special edition Alpha, Maruti Suzuki is looking to build some sales for the Swift petrol which has been quite down for a while. The Swift has been seeing high demand for its diesel cars with 80% of the demand being for diesel car.
To attract buyers, the Swift Alpha will offer a host of extra features at no extra price. Recently, Maruti had increased dealer margins by 10% on selling petrol cars to improve sales.
The extra features in the Maruti Suzuki Swift Alpha special edition include an interior Style Kit, Bluetooth Capable Music System for mobile phone pairing, Speakers System, Seat Covers, Designer Floor Mats, Comfi Range accessories, Door Visors, Door Sill Guard, Mud Flaps and a Rear Spoiler.
However, the Indian auto major hasn't cleared how many special edition cars it will sell. We will have to wait and see if the new special edition car could do wonders for the carmaker..
