road-rage
In another incident of increasing road rage in the capital city, a man driving a car was fired by several rounds of bullets by an SUV occupied miscreants for not making way for them. The incident happened at Narela in outer Delhi when the victim identified as Vijender Kahtri was on the way to Bakner village. One of the bullets brushed aside his ear, however, the victim escaped the attack without major injuries.

Violence broke-out when the driver of the SUV, a Scorpio approached Kahtri's i10 from behind and started honking repeatedly. The victim reportedly couldn't give way for the Scorpio as the road was narrow. After some distance, the SUV overtook the car and blocked it before 7-8 youths came out of it and started firing, said the victim.

“I was terrified and ducked to save myself," he told the police. Later, when people gathered at the place hearing gunshots, the attackers fled the scene. Police have filed a case against unidentified persons according to the victims complaint.

We strongly recommend strict action be taken against persons who indulge in road rage. Remember to be respectful to other drivers on the road and treat them the same way you would want to be treated.
