VW Launches Mid Level Diesel Vento At Rs 8.56 Lakh

Volkswagen has finally launched the mid level variant of the Vento diesel sedan at Rs.8.56 lakhs. The new addition comes to the diesel engined sedan nearly after two years it was launched in the Indian market. The Vento Comfort line Diesel sedan could be seen a result of the Skoda Rapid out performing the Vento.

The Vento Diesel Comfortline comes with body coloured exterior door handles and mirrors, radio with CD, MP3 player music system, rear center arm rest, fog light front and rear, height adjustable driver seat, electrically adjustable outside rear mirror over and all the features available in the Vento Trendline.

Neeraj Garg, Member of Board & Director Volkswagen Passenger Cars said, "Since the introduction of the Vento, we have received requests for the mid-level trimline."

The Vento sedan is now available in 7 trim levels including the automatic transmission option, across the petrol and diesel engine options. The Vento comes with a 1.6 liter MPI 105 Bhp-140 Nm petrol engine and a 1.6 Liter TDI turbo diesel engine delivering 105 Bhp-250 Nm. A 5 speed manual gearbox is standard on both the engines while the petrol engine can also be specified with an automatic variant.
