Mahindra Names Pravin Shah As New Chief Executive

The Mahindra Group has named its chief executive for international operations of the automotive and farm equipment sector, Pravin Shah as the new chief executive. He will be taking his new position from February1.

Mahindra in its statement said Ruzbeh Irani, who is the executive vice-president, corporate strategy and chief brand officer, will be taking Pravin Shah's position. The company has also said these changer are part of its regular internal talent management.

"These changes are consistent with the group's commitment of nurturing and strengthening the process of internal talent management."

The group said Irani was being replaced by Shriprakash Shukla, who is currently president, special group projects.
