Maruti Suzuki Alto has been enjoying the 1st position for long and this time too, it has retained the position. The most loved Indian car sold 35,245 units in the month of March.
The Alto small car has been selling high in the country for its low price and running costs. The car which could be called the elder brother of Maruti 800 comes with a starting price of Rs 2,40,352 lakhs.
The Alto will be avilable in three variants. The small car is available with a 796 cc petrol engine that is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The Alto claims a great mileage of 19.73 kmpl.
