Renault To Launch Petrol Variants Of Pulse Soon

Renault India is now planning to launch two petrol variants of the Pulse. The Renault Pulse will be powered by the same petrol engine that is found in the Nissan Micra. This is not surprising considering the fact that the Pulse is built on the same platform as the Micra and carries much of its exterior design.
The petrol engine in the Pulse will be a 1.2-litre pot that generates 76bhp and 104Nm of torque. The Pulse's two petrol variants will have the same engine. But Renault India will offer more features in the top end petrol variant.
The two variants of the Renault Pulse will be RxL and RxZ. The entry level RxL will be available with several features that we will find mostly on top end variants of other models.
The Pulse RxL will feature:
- Tilt Steering
- Front Driver Airbag
- Central locking
- Rear window wiper
- Internally adjustable ORVM
- Integrated Music System
- Power window with Anti Pinch function
- On board trip computer
- Plum & Black interiors
- Fabric accentuated fabric seat
The Pulse RxZ will have all the standard features of the RxL but will also get ABS, EBS and front passenger airbag making it a safer car to drive. Renault India is yet to officially announce any new details about the petrol powered Pulse. We can only expect it to be priced slightly above the price of the Nissan Micra.
