Audi Q3 Teaser Launched On Facebook
The sporty Q3 which is expected to be launched sometime in 2012 was unveiled by Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif at Delhi Auto Expo in January this year. The Q3 will have a target audience who are looking to upgrade their car to a classy, expensive model.
Expected to be priced between Rs 25-30 lakhs, the Q3 will be assembled at Audi's Aurangabad plant through completely knocked down units. The sexy Q3 will be the luxury carmakers entry-level model in India.
The Q3 crossover's launch is slated as the biggest in 2012 from the German carmaker. By launching the Q3, Audi is entering the highly competitive crossover segment which will have rivals like BMW's entry-level X1 and the upcoming Mercedes Benz B-Class sports tourer.
The Q3 will be available in both petrol and diesel models with a 2 liter TDI turbo diesel engine producing 170 Bhp-350 Nm and a 2 liter TFSI turbo petrol engine churning out 211 Bhp-350 Nm. The engine will be mated to a 7 speed automatic DSG dual clutch gearbox and the Quattro all wheel drive system will also be offered on the new 2012 Q3.
