Mini Xylo Will Be Launched Before Diwali: Mahindra
When reporters questioned about the mini Xylo, the Mahindra officials responded by saying the car was still under development but it will be launched before Diwali. So rejoice Xylo fans who badly wanted to on the car but were not sure if you needed such a big one.
The mini Xylo will be five door hatchback but with the look and feel of an SUV. The rear compartment that we usually see in the Xylo has been hacked of. What you will get is probably a car that is shorter than four metres in length. This will effectively make it a compact car and will attract lesser excise tax.
The mini Xylo will offer the driving experience and high driving position of an SUV but will be small enough to handle the busy traffic conditions of a city. The smaller size will also mean it will offer better fuel economy than the 14kmpl the regular Xylo will offer. To top it all the mini Xylo will be priced well below Rs.7 lakhs making it a very affordable SUV.
