Maruti Suzuki To Reduce Waiting Period Of Swift

The major reason behind Maruti's decision is the long waiting periods its customers are having to face for some diesel variants. Demand for diesel cars has shot up exponentially in the past one years and models such as the Swift and the Swift DZire have waiting periods ranging from 4 months to six months.
The Maruti Suzuki stockyards to be set up in Bangalore and Nagpur will be used to stock the models that have huge demand. With Maruti Suzuki acing all its manufacturing plants in Haryana, catering to the demands of customers from south and central India has been a challenge. These stockyards can reduce waiting periods by as much as two months.
Maruti Suzuki India's Mayak Pareek said the carmaker would be setting up more stockyards in India particularly in the eastern part of the country. Several people who wanted to buy Maruti cars have switched to other car models greatly affecting the carmaker's sales. The major reason behind this reduced sales is the long waiting period.
Maruti Suzuki by countering this problem has begun its efforts to regain its lost market share. By far, the most popular car brand in the country, Maruti Suzuki can expect increased sales and a better performance once its stockyards in Bangalore and Nagpur become operational.
