Maruti Suzuki Swift Is The Top Selling Car

It has always been the Alto for Maruti until now. But now, the Swift hot hatchback has overtaken the Alto for the first time.

A little confused? Making it clear, Maruti Suzuki Swift has reached the top spot in terms of sale in India. This is mainly due to the lessening waiting period of Swift from 7-9 months to 4-5 months.

Maruti Suzuki Alto, which is the entry-level car of the company, has been at the top spot for times. Meanwhile, it is the Swift diesel that is the most selling accounting to 80% of the total bookings.

The Swift comes at a starting price of Rs 5.53 lakhs. It is a car known for its sportiness and drivability.
