Q2, Q4, Q6, Q8 - Lots More To Come From Audi

German luxury carmaker Audi is in a race with rivals, namely Mercedes Benz and BMW to become the number one premium car manufacturer in the world. In order to achieve that status, the company has been lining up more and more models in its product range.

The latest news is that Audi is planning to further expand its Q-series line up with a number of crossovers. The company is reportedly planning to launch Q2, Q4, Q6, Q8 crossovers in the coming years thereby offering a wide range of choice to customers.

Currenly, Audi sells the Q5, and Q7 models in India with the Q3 expected to be launched sometime soon in 2012. There has been no much information available on the new models, but reports say that the carmaker intends to sell the cars in developed as well as emerging markets.

According to auto sources, the carmaker would be keeping the new models under the on-road vehicle segment with lesser off-road ability. Also the existing Q3, Q5, Q7 models would be made more tougher with high ground clearance and other features that would make them great off-road performers.
