Skoda's You Drink We Drive Service For Mumbai Only
Skoda India's Marketing head Kamal Basu has emphasized that the campaign is to boost safety. He said: “Safety is important and it is one of our core philosophies. We desire to spread awareness about safe driving on busy Mumbai streets. Skoda’s ‘If You Drink, We Drive’ program is an extension of this endeavor to promote safe and responsible driving amongst Skoda owners, without them having to miss out on the fun element of watching the games.”
Skoda India will offer a chauffeur service to customers driving a Skoda to a party or a get together. Many people who attend parties do not enjoy them fully and drink as they have to drive themselves to home. Skoda's service will mean people can enjoy their parties and also not worry about driving drunk or getting caught by the police.
Skoda's You Drink We Drive service is expected to strike a cord among party goers. Although the concept of hiring drivers to drive people back home after a party is existing since several years, it is the first time a carmaker has launched such a service.
Skoda owners can now be secure about the fact that they need not drive when drunk on Mumbai's dangerous roads. Skoda's initiative will also provide an impetus to efforts promoting responsible driving.
Skoda owners need to intimate Skoda about when and where they need chauffeur services and the carmaker will arrange for drivers. Skoda currently sells the Rapid, Laura and Superb sedans along with the Fabia hatchback and Yeti Premium SUV.
