Renault To Launch Fluence E4 Diesel Tomorrow
The Renault Fluence E4 D’s launch has been scheduled for tomorrow at the Lalit in Connaught Place, New Delhi. The sedan will get an updated Step 2 CRDI diesel engine that might also be available in the soon to be launched Renault Duster.
The Fluence currently sold in India is available with a six speed CVT automatic for the petrol variant and a manual six speed for the diesel variant. It is yet unclear if Renault will add an automatic to the Fluence E4 D.
What has impressed people who have driven the Fluence is its comfortable ride quality. The sedan comes equipped with advanced suspension system in the front and a MacPherson type suspension with dual acting shock absorber, coil spring and stabilize bar in the rear.
We expect Renault will retain all these features in the new Fluence E4 D. There will not be any obvious changes to the Fluence’s exterior design apart from the E4 d name. We expect the interior will also remain the same. Renault had made every effort to make the Fluence a premium sedan and it does not need to upgrade the new Fluence’s interiors. We were thoroughly impressed by the top quality leather on the steering wheel.
The new Fluence E4 D is expected be equipped with several safety features including ABS with EBD, Electronic stability programme, passenger air bags and side air bags. We will get you more details about the new Renault Fluence E4 d tomorrow.
