Peugeot RCZ - Car That Shifts Colour On Your Mood

Some say, the car you own reflects your personality. But do you want a car that also reflects your mood? If your answer is yes, then the new Peugeot RCZ unveiled in London is the car for you. The new RCZ has nothing new in terms of technical specifications or the design. But is unique in the new sports car from Peugeot is its paint.

Researchers in Britain have developed a reactive paint that will change its colour based on the mood of the driver. The car will change its colour based on the driver being happy, sad or angry. This is possible due to the reactive paints ability to change its composition based on electronic inputs it recieves from the car.

The steering wheel of the RCZ is used to detect the mood of the driver. The sensors in the steering wheel will asses the driver's temperature and pulse rate which is sent to the psycochromatic paint. The colour of the car will change as and when the mood changes.

Vince Clisham, the product manager at Peugeot has said: "This really is a world first for motoring, to have developed a paint that accurately reflects the emotion of the driver, will no doubt have our competitors green with envy.Particularly as our customers can experience this innovation behind the wheel of the RCZ -- a sports coupe that already inspires goose-bumps with its double-bubble roof line."
