Volvo Introduces The S60 Sedan

The Indian market has got one more luxury vehicle in the form of Volvo"s S60 sedan at the price tag of Rs2.7 million and the company intends to expand its strength in the growing market for premium vehicles.

The company will commence the sale from this month with three variants of which the costliest will be for Rs3.4 million. This has resulted with the rise in the prospective purchasers in India whereby Audi, Daimler and VW have strengthened their potential. The company said this S80 will be pitted against C-class sedans from Mercedes-Benz India and A4 sedan from Audi. Already Volvo is in the market with its S80 sedan and XC 90 / XC 60 SUVs and the company has its operations from China where the owners Zhejiang Geely Holding Group has the full right after the acquisition from Ford.
