VE Commercial Vehicles Have Whopping Sales!

VE Commercial Vehicles, the auto-maker said that in April month it has witnessed a 20.49 per cent jump in total monthly sales to 3,669 units. Adding, the joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors had sold 3,045 units in the same month of the previous year.

In April 2010, the domestic sales increased to 3,353 units from 2,903 units in the same month a year ago which is a jump of 15.50 per cent. Also, the exports for the month increased over two-fold to 316 units from 142 units.In the Indian market, the sales of light commercial vehicles went up by 9.69 per cent to 2,242 units during the month from 2,044 units in April 2010.And the sales of Heavy commercial vehicle recorded a 54.05 per cent jump to 513 units last month from 333 units in the year-ago period last year.
