Toyota Recall To Fix Fuel Pipes

Toyota which ranked first in automobile sales last year beating General Motors, now is witnessing a fast decline. According to Toyota Motors Corp. they would recall some cars in mostly in Japan. Toyota recall includes 1.2 million units of Noah minivan in Japan and 149,000 Avensis model from overseas, 75,000 Crown models and 6000 Townace vans in Japan.

Toyota recall is happening to fix faulty fuel pipes and high pressure fuel pumps. Toyota recall is for cars which were manufactures between the months May2000 and October 2008. Toyota recall has had a great effect on their share prices. Toyota share prices went down by 2% in yesterday afternoon trade.

Reports have revealed that with this recall, Toyota recall has reached the mark of 15 million. This has hampered their reputation to a great extent, specially in the US. In US Toyota worst service has got them under scrutiny. Toyota spokesperson, Shiori Hashimoto, has still not disclosed the recall cost.
