Tata Pixel, The New Variant Of Nano

Tata Motors is very soon coming out with a new version of its compact platform under Nano, called PIXEL to be sole product for the European markets. Tata is displaying this version to be unveiled by its Chairman at the Geneva car show and the car will be designed with three door GullWing opening upward. Tata said the car will be a concept one and the manufacturing will be based on Nano which is 3 meters. Yet there will be enlarged interiors and will meet the demands of the European markets. A senior organizer of the company said the car will be one of the most promising from the Tata product range. It is learnt that despite design from Nano Europa, which has 5 doors, this PIXEL will have a design of its own suiting the markets of the US and Europe.

The shortcomings which Nano faced in these markets, fuel emission norms and safety aspects, will be ratified with this PIXEL, said the company source. The company is yet to unveil its Nano Europa which it displayed in Europe some two years ago. In addition there has been no official information about the powertrain for the PIXEL and related technical specifications. Moreover, the price of the car too is to be made public as much as the proposed date of official launch. Only thing that is sure to hit the news as on date is that Tata is making this car with more space which the European and the US market seek much. Some sources hint that this concept car may hit the headlines in 2013. Tata has made sensation by launching its world cheapest car Nano at Rs1.3 lakh ex showroom New Delhi.
