This revision will make Indica to cost higher by Rs7000- Rs9000 from its current price of Rs3.94 lakhs -Rs4.77 lakhs. Vista and Indigo CS will be revised with the addition of Rs8000- Rs11000 from the current price of Rs3.77 lakh and Rs5.84 lakhs and Rs.4.29 lakhs and Rs5.33 lakhs respectively. The Manza will be costlier by Rs10000 - Rs15000 from its existing rate of Rs5.9 lakhs and Rs7.51 lakhs. The company has spared its world cheapest car Nano from this revision while the Sumo will get the hike on its select model. The car is Rs4.95 lakh- Rs7.62 lakhs currently and there will be rise by Rs13000- Rs15000.
Grande will be costlier by Rs16000- Rs19000 from its current price of Rs5.80 lakhs and Rs7.79 lakhs while it will be Rs18000 -Rs29000 rise for its Safari from its current price of Rs7.86 lakhs and Rs11.41 lakhs. Aria is to get the rise of Rs30000 - Rs36000 from the existing price of Rs12.9 lakhs and Rs15.5 lakhs. Similar is the state of affairs in the camps of Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai Motors. The Managing Executive Officer of MSI said the rise in the bottomline has made the company to effect a hike from April but a decision has to be made at the right time.
