Tata Magic IRIS & Ace Zip Priced About 1.9L
Magic IRIS is a 3-4-seater, small passenger carrier and is a better alternate for passenger-carrying three-wheelers.
Tata Motors President, Commercial (CVBU), Ravi Pisharody said that Magic IRIS is a better alternative to auto rickshaws and other similar three-wheeler passenger carriers. This small passenger vehicle segment is doing well and the company is positive that people accept this vehicle.
It comes with a warranty of one year, or 36,000 kilometres and the IRIS is outfitted with a 611-cc, water-cooled engine with 11 HP power. And it will be available in four colours, arctic white, ruby red, school yellow and jet black.
Also, the company's Ace Zip comes with a warranty of 36,000 km or 12 months and is the only vehicle in the sub-600 kg category to be powered by a water-cooled engine.
Tata Motors' Managing Director (India Operations), P M Telang, said that Tata Motors has been a pioneer in creating and growing the small commercial vehicles market in India with the Tata Ace and the Tata Magic. The company will more comprehensively deal with the burgeoning need of public transportation and goods movement with the introduction of Magic IRIS and Ace Zip.
