JLR In Search Of Assembly Unit In China
With the Chinese auto market surging towards the unprecedented growth in recent times, the Tata Motors" JLR is devising its strategies to install an assembly plant in the country. In this connection the company has been on search for the like-minded partners in the world largest auto market.
The Chief Executive of JLR said that the stage is set for discussions and in due time the process will be made thoroughly. The prospective partners include Jiangling Motor Corp a firm owned by Ford Motor Co and Great Wall Motor Co.Ltd with 30%. JLR"s initiative comes after the company sold about 30000 units in China and has established its stance as one among the top most global brands. Other top players include Audi AG, BMW AG who have had good run in the China automobile markets.
