In April, Tata Motors Sales Go Up By 12%

In April 2011, the Tata Motors Group global wholesales including Jaguar Land Rover were 87,114 units which is a growth of 12 percent over April 2010. Adding, the global sales of all commercial vehicles from Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range were 41,179 units in April 2011 which is a growth of 20 percent.

For all passenger vehicles, the global sales were at 45,935 units in April 2011, a growth of 6 percent. And in India, the global sales of Tata motors passenger vehicles and the distribution offtake of Fiat cars were at 26,504 units for the month which is a growth of 5 percent over April 2010.

It is said that the global sales of Jaguar Land Rover in April 2011 were 19,431 vehicles, higher by 9 percent. For the month, sales of Jaguar sales were 3,079 units, lower by 13 percent whereas Land Rover sales were 16,352 units, higher by 14 percent.
