Tata Motors’ Dismal Show In Global Sale

The combined sale volume for Tata Motors in the global market reaped just a 1% growth in March. The company could secure sale of 110785 units comprising the promotion of JLR vehicles. The cumulative Tata Motors global market sale with this for the last fiscal, however, saw a rise by 24% by selling 1081245 units against the one done in the previous fiscal. For the global market, Tata Motors sold all its range such as Tata Daewoo, Tata Hispano Carrocera and Tata- which stood at 56814 units indicating a 19% growth. The cumulative Tata Motors global sale for the period stood at rise by 24% with 512269 units.

Tata Motors passenger car sale in global market was 53971 units as of March 2011 as its cumulative volume stood at 568976 units making a rise of 24% and that of Tata Passenger vehicles combined the distribution volume of Fiat in India saw a sale of 29870 units in March as its cumulative sale for the fiscal was higher by 23% with 327403 units.

The most celebrated acquisition of JLR vehicles by Tata saw the sale of 24101 units in March 2011 indicating a rise by 2% and that of Jaguar sale was 3772 units decline of 19% but Land Rover got the rise by 8% with 20329 units. The cumulative sale of JLR vehicles for the fiscal was up by 25% with 241573units and that of Jaguar was 52993 units making a rise by 12% and Land Rover got the cumulative sale in the fiscal to 188580 units making a rise by 29%.
