Tata Indica Gets Another Facelift

Tata Motors has once again decided to provide the Indica hatchback with a facelift. The Indica has been one of Tata's highest selling model in recent years and it has get several face lifts. The Tata Indica has mostly been used as a taxi or a commercial passenger vehicle. Tata Motors now wants to draw the focus of domestic consumers.

In the latest face lift, the Tata Indica will get larger headlamps and a grille that resembles the one used in the Indigo Manza sedan. The new Indica will also get a cosmetically enhanced rear bumper. There are more indicators that the new Indica will look more like the Manza. The Interior also gets special treatment with higher quality materials.

As far as the technical specifications of the Indica go, engine and transmission options remain the same. The car appears slightly longer mostly due to the redesigned rear and front bumpers.

The face lifted Tata Indica might also be priced slightly higher due to the availability of more features. The current Indica retails at Rs.3.38 lakhs (ex-showroom price Delhi)
