Tata Motors Launches Aria In Nepal

Tata Motors appears to be keen to increase its presence in the Himalayan nation of Nepal. After tasting success with the Nano small car, the Indian carmaker has now launched the Aria luxury crossover in Nepal. The Aria is the first Indian four-wheel drive crossover that delivers the handling and finesses of a sedan while having the power of an SUV.

The Tata Aria has set a new benchmark by offering class leading features that are usually found in super luxury car models. The four-wheel-drive Aria is well suited for Nepal's rough and hilly terrain and can overcome the hostile roads of the Himalayan nation.

The Tata Aria is one of the rare cars that offers as many as 36 new features. It offers advanced active safety features such as Electronic Stability Programme that maintains the car's stability along with six air bags. The Aria which is available in three trim levels costs between Rs.47.9 lakh to 54.9lakh Nepalese rupees.

Sipradi Trading, Tata Motors exclusive importer for Nepal will be the Aria's distributor. The Tata Nano small car has already been welcomed whole heartedly in Nepal. It remains to be seen how the Aria is taken considering the fact that the Aria has had a lukewarm response in India. Tata Motors is keen to increase in exports and wants to ensure all its models are available in the international market.
