The New Tata Aria 4x2 Crossover Powers Up

The Aria 4x2 is powered by a 2.2-litre Direct Injection Common Rail (DICOR) engine also found in the Safari.. the engine gets variable turbine technology and 32-bit ECU that helps it deliver 140PS of power and 320Nm of torque. Tata has improved the Aria's NVH (Noise Vibration and Harshness) by adding a dual mass flywheel that reduces torsional vibrations in the engine. The diesel powertrain is paired with a Mark II gearbox that ensures smooth and effortless transfer of power.
The two-wheel-drive system of the Aria will ensure the handling is similar to that of a sedan. The suspension is also designed to deliver an optimal balance between ride comfort and control and stability, both on normal roads and while offroading. Its low-roll characteristics and higher soaking capacity further ensure a sedan-like ride quality and SUV-like offroading capability.
